Automatic tilt back tyre changer 10" to 26" with assist arm

26" Automatic Tyre Changer with Assist Arms

The G7645D.26 + PLUS83H + VARPLUS/M automatic tilt-back tyre changer package with pneumatic helper arm is built for fast, controlled work on today’s tougher tyres. If you’re regularly handling low-profile and stiff sidewall tyres, this package pairs the G7645D.26  tyre changer with the PLUS83H pneumatic helper arm to give you the extra control and bead management you need—without slowing the job down

The G7645D.26 is a heavy-duty, “racing”-style tilt-back machine with a large frame and a wide working span, ideal for busy workshops that want speed, stability, and repeatable results. While the pneumatic assist device is designed to make difficult tyre work easier by controlling the bead and helping you manage tight sidewalls.

Together they offer you more control on stiff tyres as the helper arm supports bead movement, so you’re not fighting the tyre. It helps speed up the tyre-fitting workflow. The tilt-back access and stable clamping/working span mean less repositioning and fewer “second attempts.” Combined with its inverter-controlled speed and single-phase supply, makes it an easy fit in many bays. Overall, this is a workshop-friendly Tyre changer giving you power and control.

Features & Benefits

Automatic tilt-back column: Quicker setup and easier wheel access mean less bending/repositioning, faster cycle times.

Variable/adjustable rotation speed via inverter (VARPLUS/M): Slow it down for tight, delicate, low-profile work; speed it up for routine tyres. Better control, fewer mistakes, more throughput.

Fast turntable performance (max 16 rpm): Brisk mounting/demounting on standard jobs, ideal for busy workshops.

Rigid, heavy-duty construction: Stability under load (less flex) means smoother bead work and reduced chance of wheel/tyre damage, especially when tyres fight back.

Pneumatic helper arm with rotating arm: Adds a “third hand” for controlling the bead and sidewall, massively reducing operator effort on stiff tyres and lowering the risk of rim marks.

Designed to assist with run-flat / low-profile tyre work: Get more consistent results on difficult tyres, fewer retries, and less fatigue for the technician.

Improved “H” series helper arm design: Stronger assistance and better working space around the wheel, which helps speed and comfort at the machine.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Solid, stable, and confidence-inspiring when you’re dealing with stiff sidewalls. The helper arm does the hard work, reducing fatigue for the techs. Took a bit of familiarisation to get the best workflow, but once you’ve got it dialled in, it’s excellent.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We’re seeing more SUVs and larger diameter wheels every month. This machine handles them comfortably, and the working area feels generous. Since installing it, we’ve had fewer ‘problem’ jobs and more predictable turnaround times.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The biggest benefit is how controlled everything feels, especially on tricky tyres. The helper arm keeps things where you need them, and the variable speed helps avoid mistakes. The team is noticeably less tired at the end of the day, and the finish on customer wheels is consistently cleaner.

FAQs About 26" Automatic Tyre Changer with Assist Arms

Why does a tyre changer need a helper arm?
Modern tyres can be extremely stiff, especially on larger rims and low-profile tyres. A helper arm acts like a “third hand” by pushing and controlling the tyre bead, reducing manual effort, minimising retries, and lowering the risk of wheel or bead damage.
What does variable (inverter) speed actually do?
Variable speed allows the turntable to rotate slowly for difficult tyres—offering greater control and reducing the chance of slipping or marking the wheel—and faster for routine tyre changes, improving overall productivity.
Will it handle larger modern wheels such as SUV or performance sizes?
Yes. This tyre changer is designed to handle larger diameter rims and wider wheels than entry-level machines, making it well suited for modern SUV and performance vehicle fitments.
