Leverless Tyre changer 10" to 26" with Shovel Bead Breaker and wheel Lift

26" Leverless Tyre Changer

The G8945D.26S is a completely leverless, centre-clamp tyre changer built for fast, damage-free tyre work on today’s alloy and reverse rims. Designed for 10”–26” rims and wheels up to 45” (1143 mm) diameter, it combines a patented anti-scratch plastic demount tool with a tool position “Memory” so you can repeat the exact working position at the press of a pedal, making it ideal for high-throughput workshops.

A space-saving vertically moving post keeps access clear, while the roller bead-breaking system (with 180° rotation) makes bead work smoother on low-profile and stiff sidewall tyres. The machine’s central clamping chuck supports standard and reverse wheels via a two-position locking plate, helping you clamp securely without stressing the rim.

The G8945D.26S also features continuous speed control (up to 15 rpm) for confident mounting/demounting, plus workshop-friendly extras such as pedal inflation with gauge and balancing valve, a bead depressor assist arm, and a wheel lifter, making it a strong choice for busy passenger car, light commercial, and motorhome tyre bays.

Features & Benefits

Fully leverless operation: Faster tyre changes with less effort, and reduced risk of rim/tyre damage compared with traditional lever systems.

Patented “position memory” function: Set the tool position once, and the machine returns to the correct working point, speeding up repeat operations and improving consistency.

Central clamping chuck (centre-clamp): Secure, stable clamping and better protection for premium alloys, also supports reverse wheels.

Rim capacity: 10"–26": Covers most passenger cars, SUVs, and many light commercial/motorhome wheel sizes in one machine.

Handles large wheels upto 45” in diameter: Able to work with high-profile SUV/4x4 assemblies and larger overall tyre sizes.

Max rim/wheel width of 15": Better compatibility with wider modern wheels.

Electric motor with continuous/variable speed control: More control on stiff sidewalls and low-profile tyres, helps avoid sudden “snatching” and reduces technician fatigue.

Pedal inflation with gauge and balancing valve: Quick, controlled inflation at the machine, improving workflow and safety checks.

Bead depressor assist arm: Extra assistance when mounting/demounting difficult, low-profile or run-flat-style tyres, reducing the risk of bead slip and damage.

Wheel lifter: Safer handling of heavy wheel/tyre assemblies, reduces back strain and speeds positioning on the chuck.

Shovel bead breaker: Fast initial bead breaking on common wheel/tyre setups, ideal for throughput in busy bays.

Why Choose This Product?

If you want a tyre changer that’s built for speed, control, and rim protection on modern wheels, the G8945D.26S could become your perfect partner. Its fully leverless, centre-clamp design reduces the chance of marking premium alloys and makes day-to-day work smoother for technicians, while the position memory function helps repeat operations quickly and consistently. With coverage for 10”–26” rims and large assemblies up to 45” in diameter, plus variable speed control, it’s well-suited to busy workshops dealing with low-profile and stiff sidewall tyres. Add the included bead depressor, assist arm, and wheel lifter for easier handling of difficult, heavier wheels, and you get a machine that improves throughput, safety, and finish quality, all in one neat package.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The centre-clamp setup feels solid, and we’ve had far fewer marks on alloys compared to our older changer. Everything feels controlled, especially when working on expensive diamond-cut wheels. It’s a premium machine that gives you confidence on every change.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Didn’t think the wheel lifter would make such a difference, but it’s been brilliant, especially with heavier SUV wheels. Less lifting, less strain, and you can get the wheel located perfectly without wrestling it. Worth it for the wheel lifter alone.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Bought it mainly for larger wheels, and it’s been spot on. Clamping is secure, the machine feels stable, and the speed control helps when you’re dealing with rigid sidewalls. It’s a proper step up from our old  entry-level kit.

FAQs About 26" Leverless Tyre Changer

What does “leverless” mean, and why is it better?
A leverless tyre changer mounts and demounts tyres without using a traditional tyre lever. On machines such as the G8945D.26S, the leverless tool system works the bead on and off the rim more smoothly, reducing the risk of alloy damage, delivering more consistent results, and lowering physical effort for the operator.
What is “centre-clamp” (centre clamping chuck) and what’s the advantage?
Centre-clamp tyre changers hold the wheel securely from the centre rather than clamping from the outer rim edges. This provides stable, accurate clamping and is generally kinder to alloy wheels, particularly premium and reverse-mount rims.
Why would I want a wheel lifter on a tyre changer?
A wheel lifter assists with raising and positioning heavy wheel and tyre assemblies onto the chuck. This reduces manual lifting, improves operator safety, minimises physical strain, and speeds up loading—especially useful when working with SUVs and larger wheels.
