Treadreader DriveOver Ramp
As each vehicle traverses the ramp, tyres trigger the built-in sensors and air knives automatically clear debris. The system captures a detailed 3D scan and wirelessly sends it to the TreadReader software — where you get a comprehensive, easy-to-read report showing tread depth, wear patterns, and recommendations. The result: reliable tyre condition data with minimal manual effort.
Features & Benefits
- Full 3D tyre scanning — Up to 320,000 measurement points per tyre for complete and accurate analysis across full tread width and 50 mm around the tyre.
Benefit: Detect worn or uneven tread even in wet or dirty conditions. - Automated drive-over operation — Vehicle simply drives over the ramp; pressure switch triggers scan and air-knife cleaning.
Benefit: Hands-free, fast operation ideal for high-volume workshops. - Rapid results & reporting — Scan cycle takes 12–15 seconds per vehicle with automated processing and 3D visual reports.
Benefit: Instant, professional reports you can print or email to customers. - High accuracy & reliability — Better than 0.2 mm measurement accuracy with full-width tyre scanning.
Benefit: Ensures compliance with legal tread-depth requirements. - Flexible installation — Available in surface-mounted or flush-mounted configurations; integrates easily with workshop equipment.
Benefit: Fits seamlessly into new or existing layouts. - Robust & low-maintenance — Air knives and protective shutters keep sensors clean during operation.
Benefit: Long-lasting performance with minimal maintenance. - Advanced software & data integration — Works with TreadReader software or integrates with fleet/workshop systems via middleware.
Benefit: Enables professional record keeping, tyre history tracking, and fleet-wide monitoring.
